Let's Begin...
We need to get your transactions from Gateio. We'll be using Gateio's API to get your data.
While other providers allow you to import CSVs, we enforce using the API as this will be less error prone. Futhermore, for your security, Digitax will never save your API keys.
Pretty simple right? Follow the instructions for API below.
API Instructions
1)
Login to your Gateio account on their website. You may have to enter two factor authentication.
2)
On the top righthand corner, click on the portrait icon and in the drop-down menu, select API Management.
3)
On the lefthand menu, click on the APIv4 Keys button.
4)
On the righthand side of the page, click +Create New API Key, give the API Key a name in the Remark field, and check the box, Wallet, and finally ONLY check Read Only
- For your security, please double check to make sure Read And Write is NOT selected. Digitax only needs to be able to read your transactions.
5)
You will be prompted for two factor authentication again.
6)
Use the API Key and Secret Key on Digitax's import form to upload your transactions.
